UENR Civil & Environmental Engineering Teaching Assistantship
Teaching assistantship in civil and environmental engineering at UENR, covering hydrogeology and soil pollution and remediation tutorials, student mentoring and research proposal development.
The challenge
Delivering strong tutorial teaching in technical subjects such as hydrogeology and soil pollution and remediation, while supporting final-year students and helping build the research funding needed to sustain the department, calls for both subject expertise and mentoring capacity.
Our approach
As Teaching Assistant, Ransford Wusah Bakuri taught Hydrogeology and Soil Pollution and Remediation tutorials and mentored final-year students.
He also contributed to a proposal team that developed a successful bid for a World Bank project.
Outcomes
The tutorials he delivered achieved a full pass rate, and final-year students benefited from his mentoring.
The proposal team he contributed to won a World Bank project.
