Solar PV Installation Training Programme
Delivery of design-and-installation training for stand-alone and grid-connected solar PV systems to students, private-sector practitioners and engineers.
The challenge
Expanding the use of solar photovoltaic power depends on a workforce competent in designing and installing systems safely and reliably. A structured training offering was needed to build these skills across students, private-sector installers and practising engineers.
Our approach
As Lead Trainer and Coordinator, Rev. Prof. Ing. Eric Antwi Ofosu delivers training in the design and installation of both stand-alone and grid-connected solar PV systems.
The programme reaches students, private-sector installers and engineers, coordinating the curriculum and its delivery for these distinct audiences.
Outcomes
The programme equips participants with practical competence in designing and installing stand-alone and grid-connected solar PV systems.
It contributes a trained pool of installers and engineers to support the wider uptake of solar photovoltaic technology.
