The challenge
National water policy must keep pace with changing pressures and management practice, and Ghana's 2007 Water Policy required review. Sound integrated water resources management and environmental inputs were needed to guide the revision.
Our approach
As IWRM Expert, Rev. Prof. Ing. Eric Antwi Ofosu provided integrated water resources management and environmental inputs for the review of the 2007 Ghana Water Policy.
He contributed to drafting the cabinet memorandum and took part in stakeholder consultations and report writing.
Outcomes
The review of the 2007 Ghana Water Policy was informed by integrated water resources management and environmental inputs.
The contributions to the cabinet memorandum and stakeholder consultations helped advance the policy revision through its formal process.
