RCEES Communications, Knowledge Management and Alumni Relations Leadership
Leadership of strategic communications, knowledge management and alumni relations across a research centre's portfolio, alongside technical work on basin water budgets, hydropower suitability and water-stress analysis affecting energy generation.
The challenge
A research centre's influence depends not only on the quality of its science but on how effectively that knowledge reaches stakeholders and sustains relationships with its alumni and partners. The Regional Centre for Energy and Environmental Sustainability needed coherent communications, knowledge management and stakeholder liaison across a broad research portfolio, while also generating technical evidence on the links between water and energy.
Our approach
As Senior Technical Officer and Head of Communications, Knowledge Management and Alumni Relations, Romeo Tweneboah-Koduah directs strategic communications, knowledge management, alumni relations and stakeholder liaison across the Centre's research portfolio.
Alongside this leadership role, he produces basin water budgets, hydropower suitability studies and machine-learning analysis of water stress affecting energy generation, bridging technical research and knowledge dissemination.
Outcomes
The Centre benefits from coordinated communications, knowledge management and alumni engagement that raise the visibility and reach of its research.
The accompanying technical work delivers basin water budgets, hydropower suitability assessments and evidence on water-stress impacts on energy generation, strengthening the Centre's water–energy research base.
