LCOY Ghana — Local Conference of Youth
Coordination of Ghana's national youth climate conference, convening young leaders, civil society and policymakers, with leadership of communications, partner outreach, programme design and post-event reporting.
The challenge
Meaningful youth participation in climate policy depends on well-organised national platforms that bring young people together with civil society and decision-makers. Ghana's Local Conference of Youth needed coordinated planning, outreach and communications to convene participants at scale and channel their voice.
Our approach
As Conference Manager, Romeo Tweneboah-Koduah coordinated the planning and execution of the national youth climate conference, convening over five hundred young leaders, civil society representatives and policymakers.
He led the conference communications campaign, partner outreach, programme design and post-event reporting.
Outcomes
The conference brought together more than five hundred young leaders, civil society actors and policymakers around Ghana's climate agenda.
It delivered a coordinated communications campaign, partner engagement and post-event reporting that documented and extended the conference's reach.
