Investment and policy decisions in the power sector depend on reliable, comparable information across countries. Such data is often fragmented, making a consolidated capacity and regulatory database valuable.
Our approach
As Research Consultant, Dr Felix Amankwah Diawuo designed and built a comprehensive capacity and regulatory database of the electricity and power sector across ten African countries.
As Short Term Consultant, Dr Benjamin Batinge contributed to the design and development of the database.
Outcomes
The work delivered a consolidated database of power-sector capacity and regulation across ten African countries, providing a comparative resource for analysis and decision-making.
