The challenge
Utilities pursuing energy efficiency and solar integration need in-house capacity and structured tools to guide decisions. Without training and decision-support frameworks, such initiatives are harder to sustain.
Our approach
As Technical Consultant, Dr Felix Amankwah Diawuo provided in-house training on energy efficiency and demand-side management and on grid-tied solar PV development. He developed training manuals and a technical and investment decision-support framework for the utility.
Outcomes
The engagement strengthened EDSA's in-house capacity in energy efficiency and solar PV and equipped it with manuals and a decision-support framework.
