Dayi River Basin Climate Change Adaptation Review
Assessment of the climate resilience of farming systems and water resources management in the Dayi River Basin, and review of the sustainability of the adaptation programme.
The challenge
Farming systems in the Dayi River Basin face growing pressure from a changing climate, and their resilience depends on how the basin's water resources are managed. An assessment was needed to judge this resilience and the durability of the adaptation programme in place.
Our approach
As Water Resources Expert, Rev. Prof. Ing. Eric Antwi Ofosu assessed the climate resilience of farming systems and the water resources management of the Dayi River Basin.
He reviewed the sustainability of the adaptation programme operating in the basin.
Outcomes
The review assessed the climate resilience of the basin's farming systems and its water resources management.
The findings on the sustainability of the adaptation programme inform how it can be strengthened in the Dayi River Basin.
