The challenge
Climate information and early-warning systems only deliver value when their usefulness can be assessed across different sectors and focus areas. A structured framework is needed to guide such assessment and support risk reduction.
Our approach
As Research Consultant, Dr Felix Amankwah Diawuo helped develop a framework and guidance document for assessing the utility of climate information, early warning and risk reduction.
As Research Consultant, Dr Benjamin Batinge contributed to the framework, which spanned Green Climate Fund focus areas and sectors.
Outcomes
The work produced a framework and guidance document for assessing climate information, early warning and risk reduction across the Fund's focus areas and sectors.
