The challenge
Decisions on large hydropower in Africa require a clear synthesis of the evidence and a considered position on its role in the continent's energy future. Such material had to be assembled from the available literature and data.
Our approach
As Main Consultant, Rev. Prof. Ing. Eric Antwi Ofosu developed a background paper, a position paper and a presentation on large hydropower energy in Africa.
He undertook the full literature review, data collection and writing that underpinned these outputs.
Outcomes
The work produced a background paper, position paper and presentation on large hydropower energy in Africa.
These outputs give the African Development Bank a consolidated evidence base and position on the role of large hydropower on the continent.
